Me thinks you are doing a wee bit to much. Been there done that, including the burn out.

I think you've had the experience of a 'typical' writer, trying to piece a career together. I think you've done better than average, The agent thing is really a bummer, but they all want you to have a mailing list and pump out books.

Alina, Everything that you do that I experience seems really good. And all that varied experience keeps feeding the other stuff. Always something to write about. At present none of my jobs are making money so I really should just drop the one I like least, right? Or find a paying job. When I was in the graphic design business I thought I should name it ADD Design, because I likd doing all kinds of things...no focus on ONE thing.

You really made me laugh out out (something I really enjoy duringa grim news cycle) when your answer to son's suggestion to drop the job that makes the least money and causes the most stress was "parenting?" Yep that got me. well whatever you continue to do, I will be following along.

Alina!

I know what you mean as I am very much the same way. I try to do too much.... but I have learned that it doesn't make much sense - for me at least - to do this at the expense of my mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health.... It's okay for me to do nothing and that has been an extremely hard destination to get to.

It sounds like you're able to keep all those balls juggling without losing any of the above healths.

Is that even a word? Healths?

I wish you all the best with whatever you do. Or don't do!
